5 Autumn Hairstyles for Windy Days!

1) The Classic Headband Hairstyle

This is the easiest way to keep your hair in place on those breezy days, especially when you are rushing out the door.

To create a sleek finish at the front - comb your hair back, and add some hairspray or smoothing product to keep it in place. 

Then pop the jewelled headband on, using it to keep your slicked back hair in place, and you are ready to go.

For extra staying power - wear with a ponytail or braid, to keep your hair neat at the back too. 

Our orange jewelled headband is the perfect choice to bring a shot of colourful glamour to your outfit. Wear with other Autumnal tones for a stunning seasonal look. 

If you aren't into orange then why not try our grey or blue jewelled headband for classic chic. 

Our padded velvet headband and braided headbands are all also fabulous choices to hold your hair in place for a day-to-day look. 

2) A Sleek Updo with a Chain Headband

Another super easy hairstyle for the breezy months is a sleek updo with a chain headband! 

Chain headbands are so easy to wear everyday as they add the perfect amount of glimmer to your hair, without making too much of a statement. 

We have a range of different chain headbands, depending on how much you would like the chain to show in your hair.

We've used our leaf chain headband for this style but our pearl chain headband would also look fabulous if you prefer a thinner chain. 

To create the style - simply secure your hair into a ponytail or bun using a hair elastic, and use some hairspray, or your favourite product to keep your hair slicked back, and in place.   

Then pull the chain right down over your head, keeping the elastic at the back of your neck. Finally pull the chain back up - making sure the elastic sits at the bottom of your neck.

Your chain headband will add the perfect touch of Autumn glimmer! 

Take your pick of beautiful silver shimmer or gold for a glamorous vintage-inspired look.

3) Half up Half down Hair with a floral touch

Half up Half down hairstyles are a staple for so many of us! You can add gorgeous shimmer to your days by adding a sparkly hair clip to set this style off. 

For Autumn, we love our Brown rose flower clip as the brown and golden tones celebrate the beauty of the season. 

To create this look - gather half your hair towards the back of your head. You can then secure the hair with the barrette.

If you have fine hair, and you are worried about it slipping, try wearing a hair elastic underneath the clip to easily secure the whole style.

You're now ready to take on the Autumn Breeze - a half up half down hairstyle has never looked more stylish and sparkly!

Our Large rose crystal hair clip and Vintage rhinestone leaf hair clip would also look absolutely wonderful with this hairstyle. 

4) Hair slides at the side, to keep your hair back

Hair slides are a super quick way to keep your hair out of your face, and the sparkles make you feel extra fabulous on gloomy days.

Our colourful crystal hair clips are one of my favourites, and I think these tones are perfect for Autumn. 

To style the clips - place one on either side of your hair and use the slides to pull the front of your hair back securely. 

Alternatively, style both of your sparkling slides on one side, like we have here, for a gorgeous statement look.

Whether you are just running your daily errands, or maybe even going for a lovely lunch, this hairstyle is so simple but will make you feel like a sparkling Queen!

5) High ponytail with a diamante ear warmer

This hairstyle is perfect for extra chilly days when Autumn turns to Winter. But staying warm in style is so easy with our diamante ear warmers! 

They add just the right amount of glimmer to your outfit, and give great coverage if your hair needs a wash, or you want to cover your roots. 

To create this style - secure your hair in a high ponytail, and then wrap the jewelled ear warmer around your head with the button at the back! 

You can also wear any of our winter headbands with your hair down, they do just as great a job of keeping you warm sparkling and stylish.
