Hair Bows are the accessory of the season, and here at QueenMee HQ we are very excited to get our bows on!

Bows are fun - making you and everyone else smile.

They add a romantic, and playful touch to your outfit. Just accessorize with a spring in your step, and a twinkle in your eye, and you'll rock the look. 

For both us (Maddie and Amanda), Hair Bows are our go-to hair accessory. We love wearing them, whether we dress them up, or dress them down.

We therefore had lots of fun choosing our Top 3 Bow Hairstyles for this post. We hope you love them too!

1) Adding a Hair Bow to your bun

Buns are a great hairstyle for a quick hair fix, especially if you are having a bad hair day and just need to inject a little glamour to your hair. 

Adding a Bow Hair Clip to your bun is fun, and turns a simple bun into a head-turning hairstyle. 

All Maddie did to achieve this look was gather her hair into a ponytail in her hands, then twist it around to form a bun. She then secured the bun with an elastic.

Amanda then used some hairspray to keep the bun in place and bring together any loose strands. 

Next just add your favourite QueenMee bow and pop it above your bun. 

We have used our White Satin Hair Bow for this hairstyle and it is just the right size to make a real statement.

2) Half up Half down with a bow at the back

This is the classic way to wear your Hair Bows and it never fails to look chic.

All you have to do to create this hairstyle is gather 2 pieces of hair from the front of your hair and pull them towards the back.

To add a little extra interest to this hairstyle we have twisted the pieces of hair for a pretty finish. 

If you want some extra security you can secure this style with a hair bobble before you add the clip. 

For an undone look - leave some strands of hair out to frame your face.

Then all you have to do is pick your favourite bow and pop it in - for a touch of romance and glamour. 

We used our new light blue hair bow with jewels which is a real head-turner. It has so much sparkle and is a beautiful, uplifting colour.

3) Low hair braid with Bow at the top 

An alternative and fun way to style your Hair Bows is adding them at the top of a braided ponytail.

The braid adds to the romance and vintage vibes of the bow. Go and channel your inner Prairie Princess!

To create this hairstyle, gather your hair into a low ponytail and secure using a bobble. Next braid your ponytail till the end and secure with either a clear elastic or a bobble of your hair colour.
