Diamante Hair Grips for Super Sleek Style

This week, we’re going super sleek; with slick, shiny locks and edgy oversized hair grips. Another simple, yet oh so sophisticated look, this hairstyle is my new go to evening do.

January may be over, but the year doesn’t seem to be showing any sign of slowing down (does it ever?), so I am working on ironing out my hair routine and desperately building up my repertoire of chic, easy hair styles. If I have an evening at home, working or otherwise, I can wash my hair and let it dry naturally while I do some chores around the house, then in the morning, I’ll run the straighteners over my frizzy hair and voila, I’ve got a good three days of decent looking hair in just 10 minutes. But it doesn’t stay perfectly straight, and, well, straight hair every day is a little boring… which is where the hair accessories come in!

Today I’m sharing my new favourite evening hair style; chic, sleek and edgy as hell, this style is a must try. It may not be party season, but we’ve had our month of being sensible, and now it’s time to let our hair down again - literally and figuratively!

An easy hair style for a week day dinner after work, this look requires just a few minutes, and a few of Queenmee’s gorgeous Vintage Diamante Hair Grips. I’ve used four hair clips to create this look, sweeping my hair to one side and smoothing it down, then sliding two hair grips in place just behind the ear, and repeating the same on the other side. Valentine’s Day hair style sorted.
