Fresh Hairstyles with Diamante Hair Claw Clips

Another easy two minute updo with a twist this week, both figuratively and literally!

I don’t know about you, but when I leave my hair to dry on its own, without even a blast of the dryer to get things started, it dries with a minefield of cowlicks that would make even the most seasoned of hairstylists sigh in defeat.

It’s an easy fix, throw your hair up into a top knot and be done with it, which in this warm weather makes a lot of sense. But… top knots do get a little boring after a while.

Thankfully, I have a well stocked arsenal of Queenmee hair accessories at my disposal, and with that, all I need is a few minutes to throw together a fabulously funky hairstyle for a hot summer’s day out.

For this style, throw your hair over to one side and sweep it up as though fixing it into a side ponytail, but don’t fasten in place. Start twisting the tail into a bun, but stop after one loop around, leaving the ponytail to hanging downwards. Fasten the jaws of the hair claw clip over the half bun and your hairstyle is complete! I have opted for a blue hair claw clip this week - cool blue feels just right to turn down the heat.
