Usually in late April I would be sending out dozens of headband orders to excited brides-to-be, but this April, the story for all of us is a different one. Feeling sad for all those disappointed brides, and taking solace in the Spring cherry blossom, it struck me that I have had feedback in the past from wonderful customers that are nurses. They had told me that they enjoyed wearing QueenMee clips on their shifts, as the sparkles cheered up their patients.
Donating my hair clips to NHS staff that would like them, seemed a good way to say Thank You to these incredible human beings, who are on the frontline of this terrifying crisis. I came across the fantastic organisation Helpforce, who are enabling me to make the donation. 212 hair clips are going to Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
So this late April, instead of preparing bridal hair accessories, I have been busy preparing the NHS gifts, and I am lucky enough to have a garden to work in, and two mini assistants in the household to help!
Stay Safe Everyone, Amanda XXX
