Messy Hair to Movie Star Hair

I don't know about you, but January always seems to be the busiest time of year for me, and not with any of the fun and flair of December. Here at QueenMee Hair Accessories we are missing the opportunities to wear rhinestone hair pieces and glamorous updos!

The month of new goals and new beginnings, be it business or personal, there never seems to be enough hours in the day (and I'm not just talking daylight hours). Business goals for 2019 mean working harder than ever to start off the year with a bang, and then there's the healthy eating and exercise commitments to work into the day; healthy meal prep for the week, and squeezing in a morning HIIT class leave little time for basic hairstyling, let alone a sleek and stylish updo.

Here at Queenmee, we are experts at upping our hairstyle game, with our sparkling hair accessories adding maximum fabulousness to our hairstyles, with little to no hair styling effort. I’ve been playing around with a few ideas this week, and my favourite hair updo was this easy, relaxed low bun, finished off with Queenmee’s Rose Diamante Hair Scrunchie.

Pull your hair back into a low to mid ponytail, leaving some pieces loose at the front to gently frame your face. Believe it or not, you’re half way there. Wrap your hair around into a bun and fasten in place with the scrunchie. I had been in the kitchen half the day before this shot, so my hair was a wild mess! There was a nice bit of curl to the front bits, so I took out the curling wand to finish it off; 2 - 4 seconds for each side and hey presto, I was ready to greet my guests.

Maybe not quite movie star hair, but a vast improvement on messy kitchen hair, and with little to no effort. Exactly what I need for a mid winter pick-me-up.
