New Year's Eve Hair Styling

The day is nearly upon us; the biggest event of the year! Be it a fancy cocktail party, or a cosy night in with family, there’s no denying spirits are high this time of year, and festivities are in full swing. Look no further for Hair Accessories to add sparkle to the swing.

There is often a lot of hype around New Year's Eve celebrations, and many a time I have heard people vow to not celebrate at all under the pressure to have THE BEST night, or attend the coolest party.

What ever you decide to do; brave the crowds, attend that super cool party, watch a movie with someone special; do it with a smile on your face... and some sparkle in your hair.

My New Year's Eve this year is going to be a night in with friends, and I cannot wait. I will most likely be wearing jeans and a jumper, and will definitely be wearing a fabulous Queenmee sparkly hair accessory in my hair.

I have toyed with a number of New Year's Eve hair styles; trying out some simple hair styles and some more elaborate hair styles, and I am quite sure I have found the one.

A great option for long hair and for medium hair, this hair style is much easier to achieve than it looks. I have opted for Queenmee's intricate pink rose diamante hair clip - one of the the most beautiful flower hair accessories I have seen, and entirely appropriate for the occasion.

Start with two braids, then fasten the braids into one centre ponytail. Wind the pony tail into a loose bun and fasten with a second hair tie, allowing much of the hair to fall loose.

Take the flower hair clip and fasten this through the two inner loops of your braids, just above the bun.

Using hair grips, fasten the loose pieces of hair in place around your bun. Use a hand mirror to see the back of your hair, and pin back as much hair as you like.
