Shopping online for charity feels good
Have you, like me, struggled to watch the news over the past couple of weeks? It's hard to grapple with the pain, as we watch the anguish unfolding in Afghanistan.
Of all the desperate scenes and stories, I was particularly struck by the bravery of some Afghan women, who took to the streets, and held up signs in front of Taliban soldiers, voicing their determination not to relinquish their rights. This image particularly resonated with me, as it is my mission through QueenMee, to help empower women.
Whilst a little hair accessories escapism is always a welcome tonic, it feels good to couple that relief with a social conscience. We can give ourselves a boost with a beautiful headband, and be kind to others too.

"Thank you, your support goes a long way and helps women achieve their projects and dreams" Charlie, student at Yarani, Ivory Coast.

Whilst many charities have had to sadly temporarily suspend operations in Afghanistan, there are countless other women around the world who need our help, to take the place in the world they deserve.
Wonder Foundation helps some of these women, through the power of education; and this is why I think it is such a great cause to support, during this current crisis, and beyond.
This August Bank Holiday weekend, which includes my birthday, I wanted to celebrate by donating 100% of your order to Wonder Foundation. I hope you will join me in celebrating!
Here are some of my favourite pieces that celebrate the Love and Feel-Good Factor of shopping online for charity.
Thank you so much for your support, it is much appreciated. Amanda XXX
