That was me, until I discovered charity shops. When we moved out of London I found some amazing pieces in our local charity shops, and became hooked on a new way of shopping. I could shop to my heart's content and feel good about it.

In charity shops I get to enjoy shopping in all its fun and frivolity - find some beautiful, statement pieces that I will cherish for years, and know that I am doing good by giving to charity at the same time. I'm basically indulging my inner Queen and feeling fabulous about it. 

However we can't always find exactly the accessory we are looking for in a charity shop, (and not everyone has good charity shops in their neighbourhood) so of course normal shops are part of our shopping repertoire too. Perhaps we need to find that perfect blue headband to match a special outfit.

With QueenMee I want to be able to give you the opportunity to shop from a site that makes you feel sparkling and fabulous (we all need to be kind to ourselves), but that also enables you to help others at the same time. Shop for Accessories and Empower Women and Girls

I’m excited to be partnering with a new charity for 2021, the Wonder Foundation. Their mission is to empower women, girls and their communities, through access to quality education, so that they can exit poverty for good. They work on projects all around the world, as well as in the UK.

As the mother of two daughters, I want to help girls around the globe who are not given the access to education that my daughters are.

This is a cause close to my heart, as I am very grateful for the education that I received. My education has given me choices, and given me the confidence to start QueenMee.

I believe all women and girls deserve to have choices, and to have the chance to exit poverty, through the empowerment education brings.
