Wedding Guest Hair Accessories - Our Top 5
Wedding Guest Hair Accessories are Back! My 5 Favourites
I am so excited that 2022 is going to be the biggest wedding season in years! Already here at QueenMee Accessories, we have had quite a few lovely customers shopping for fascinators and bridal headbands, as delayed weddings have been squeezed into early Spring months.
I am such a fan of weddings, they are so joyful, and I love the way many generations come together to celebrate love. I feel so honoured that by dressing the heads of wedding guests with our headbands and hair clips, we are part of the wedding in a small way!
So without further ado, here are my top 5 wedding guest hair accessories to see you through the whirl of this year's wedding season. Which one is your favourite?
1) The Pink Statement Headband
Celine and I are both a bit obsessed with the all-out sparkle and opulence of this jewelled headband. It's deliciously girlie with pink roses and oversize gems, and it is also lots of fun to wear as it makes such a flamboyant statement. Not for the wall-flower wedding guest!
2) The Pearl Padded Headband
This pearl headband has become a QueenMee classic, and is adored by the Press and Influencers. It has been featured with stylist Karen Williams on ITV's This Morning, and this stunning photo of Influencer @EmilysPastelsandFlorals shows us just why it is a chart topper! It is a padded headband that gives just the right amount of Queenly lift, and will work with a wide array of wedding guest outfits. It is also a versatile headband you will reach for time and again in your wardrobe, whenever you are after a little pearl-tinted luxe.
3) The Pearl Heart Hair Clip
This pretty little piece has been very popular with Influencers this year, as you can see from this gorgeous image of Influencer Sonam @thedreamylife__. It really does make a sweet statement to celebrate love - and a hair accessory is a very playful and unusual way to wear a heart. Pearl hair clips are always in style. A little touch of something fun in your wedding guest hair.
4) The Bow Headband
The bow headband is the fascinator you can wear to virtually any occasion! Sonam again looks stunning in the cream bow headband, and this headband is a favourite with customers and Influencers alike. I personally have the full range of colours in my wardrobe (8 different colour bows and counting!), and I find that it is perfect for an occasion like a wedding, but equally perfect for BBQs and house parties (I pair mine with a wide leg jumpsuit), or for a dinner out with friends. It is very light, and feels super comfortable to wear. So if you are looking for wear-ability after the wedding, then this is your headband.
5) The Feather Fascinator
This vintage-inspired headpiece has been incredibly popular with wedding guests since restrictions eased, as you can see from our photo gallery of customers (thank you so much for sending your fabulous pictures). We have had lovely QueenMee wedding guests telling us that they really enjoyed wearing the fascinator - and that the compliments, as well as the bubbly flowed all day!
Peacock feathers are so beautiful with their incredible display of colours and tones, they are a real favourite of mine. They were very popular in the 1920s - an era that I find perpetually inspiring. I hope as we celebrate the joy of love this wedding season, we will create our own hedonistic 20s memories!
I would love to hear which wedding guest hair accessory is your favourite. Have fun celebrating! Amanda X
